Northside-Forsyth Cancer Center
The Northside-Forsyth Cancer Center uses the Trilogy™ system. This treatment system, manufactured by Varian Corporation, provides a full array of treatment options from stereotactic treatment of the brain and body, to IGRT and IMRT with highly conformal dose distributions. The Trilogy unit is equipped with Rapid Arc which improves dose conformity while significantly shortening treatment times. The center is expanding with two additional Varian linear accelerators.
The Cancer Center uses a General Electric Lightspeed RT series CT scanner with "wide bore" to accurately map and plan radiation treatment areas with optimal patient positioning and comfort. This high-speed scanner allows for rapid set-up as well as IGRT and respiratory gating. The Eclipse™ treatment planning system is used to plan 3-D conformal, IMRT, IGRT, electron therapy, as well as stereotactic body radiation (SBRT) and cranial stereotactic radiation (SRS). Full brachytherapy (implant) services are available including High Dose Rate (HDR) delivery using the Nucletron high-dose-rate afterloading system.

Our newest location is on the Campus of Northside Forsyth Hospital, in Cummiing, at GA 400 and GA 20 (exit14). Go east on GA 20 and TURN RIGHT at the first traffic light onto Ronald Reagan Blvd. At the firs traffic light TURN RIGHT onto Northside forsyth Drive. The Cancer Center is located in the 1100 Office Building, Ground Floor, Suite 140. There is reserved parking on the north side of the building (to the right as you enter the campus).
