Northside Hospital Cancer Center
The Northside Hospital Cancer Center was the first facility in North Atlanta to obtain the Trilogy™ system. This treatment system, manufactured by Varian Corporation, provides a full array of treatment options from stereotactic treatment of the brain and body, to IGRT and IMRT with highly conformal dose distributions. The center also uses a Varian Clinac 23 EX™ to deliver precise, reliable treatment with the fastest treatment times possible.
The Cancer Center uses a GE Healthacre’s LightSpeed Widebore CT scanner with “wide bore” to accurately map and plan radiation treatment areas with optimal patient positioning and comfort. This high-speed scanner allows for rapid set-up as well as IGRT and respiratory gating. The Eclipse™ treatment planning system is used to plan 3-D conformal, IMRT, IGRT, and electron therapy. Full brachytherapy (implant) services are available including High Dose Rate (HDR) delivery using the Nucletron high-dose-rate afterloading system.

The Northside Hospital Cancer Center is located on the main campus of Northside Hospital. The Center can be reached by entering from Peachtree Dunwoody, at the Emergency Room Entrance. Go up the hill and turn into the parking deck (Medical Tower Building). Reserved Parking is located on Level 5 of the Tower Parking Deck. The Cancer Center is a located across the courtyard on Level 5.
